Established in 1948, Mount Carmel College (MCC) is a premier institution of womenu2019s education in India. Initially, the college was affiliated with Mysore University. However, it has been affiliated with Bangalore Central University since 1964. <br><br>The autonomy status of the college was granted in September 2005.
