Dr. Maggie Ackert Orillia About My name is Dr. Maggie Ackert, ND and I became a Doctor because of my passion for helping people, healing and teaching; and I believe Naturopathic Medicine is the best way to achieve those goals . I maintain that the essence of being a good doctor is to focus on the fundamentals.Meaning… Listening and taking the time to connect with each patient.Making or clarifying diagnoses by looking at ALL of your symptoms, labs, physical exams and personal/family history.Putting a heavy focus on lifestyle, nutrition, digestion, sleep, mental prevention.Collaborating with your existing healthcare team to provide a truly integrative approach.I believe that you deserve someone who takes the time to listen, puts the research into helping you and is always open to trying new things if past treatments aren’t working.
