Yet for the cultured gentleman who shows respect for others and as a result wants to look smart, they have always been an essential accessory. We all know that today it is fashionable to go to the office not just “underdressed” but in many instances very laid-back and looking as though it’s a Saturday, and so you don’t need to dress smartly. That may be the opinion of many people, but do you see the directors of a medium sized or large company looking like that?

Of course, you don’t, because the men on the sales team are spending their time visiting customers, and they want to look good and impress them. Jeans and a T-shirt are not going to hack it.
