Jaguar I-Pace The I-Pace was unveiled by Jaguar Land Rover at the Geneva 2018 auto expo. It is available at several international markets. The car is supposed to go from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds. The SUV features a 90kWh lithium-ion battery.
BMW i3 The i3 from BMW is a conservative yet nimble vehicle. It has a 42.2 kWh battery and promises between 150 to 180 miles per charge. It delivers a torque of around 184 lb-ft and around 170bhp. It goes from 0 to 62 mph in around 7.3 seconds; however, its acceleration from 0 to 30 mph is a lot more.
MG eZS The all-electric SUV by MG is the first EV by MG motors. It is the first car by the British automaker designed in China. It is perhaps the first EV to have concrete plans of introduction in India. It is currently under some testing. It delivers around 150 hp and 350 Nm of torque. The charging takes about 7 hours with 7kWh chargers and around 30 mins with fast chargers.
Pininfarina Battista This is perhaps the first electric supercar, coming out of Italy. The technical specifications of the Batista are comparable to those of the Formula One racecars. Pininfarina only plans to manufacture 150 units initially. It features a120kWh battery. It is supposed to go from 0 to 62 mph in under 2 seconds. It delivers an incredible 1900bhp and around 1695 Nm torque.
Mercedes Benz EQC The car was teased at the Geneva 2018 expo. It features more than 200 miles of range and more than 400 horsepower. It features an 80 kWh battery and delivers around 560 lb-ft of torque. It also has the unique voice-activated infotainment system, the MBUX, a trademark of Mercedes.
Porsche Mission E Taycan Porsche has two EVs lined up for release within the next two years. Taycan is a performance-based vehicle that has a sporty design. It promises a range of over 250 miles and a 0 to 62 mph in a mere 3.5 seconds. These are indeed impressive features. Porsche also claims a rapid charging speed; 80% in 15 minutes with fast chargers. It delivers around 600 bhp.
