  4. Role = Function • Over 270 roles configured in MHS GENESIS • Scope of practice, level of licensure or credentialing dictates most clinical roles • DHA guidance dictates role assignment • Training is required for every role assigned

  6. Research Roles • Quality Abstractor – Acute focused, quality measures, ORYX and TJC data (see ORYX Health Check pptx) • Clinical Research Study Coordinator – Utilized by coordinators that add, modify and track patients that are participating in specific studies.
