CHC30121- CERTIFICATE III IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION AND CARE • Course Description: This course will educate childcare workers to: • Plan and provide educational training as well as programs that emphasize on giving support to children. • Helps teachers to provide safe learning environment to students. • Helping children in their daily chore activities and making them learn values.

  3. Course Code: CHC30121 • DURATION: 1-2 Years depending on the student’s learning and adapting capacity. • Elective Units: • CHCECE006 Support behaviour of children and young people • CHCECE012 Support children to connect with their world • CHCDIV001 Work with diverse people

Course Goals • To train educators and teachers understanding various duties of child care roles, their essential necessities, and the ability to relate the children to many several kinds of backgrounds. • To help other educators as well as professionals in making study plan, and maintaining a safe and healthy class environment. • To enhance the educators’skills in supporting children’s development, learning new things, and well-being. • Making children adaptable to different cultural and ethical backgrounds and helping them in their development.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AS A CHILDCARE EDUCATOR • Finding, gathering, and putting together all the best instructional resources for the kids in Australia. • Create and plan unique extracurricular activities for kids accordingly.Work together with the parents and provide them regular performance updates on their youngster. • Discreetly respond to their inquiries.Give the children access to basic care facilities. • Keep an eye on the students' progress and make sure they are becoming better learners. • Encourage your kids to interact with one another. Ensure that no altercations take place.

Funding Entitlements • Students in Victoria who qualify for government funding are only allowed to undertake 2 courses at the same level in their lifetime with the exclusion of: • the Victorian Certificate of Education; • Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (Intermediate or Senior); • International Baccalaureate Diploma; • qualifications listed in the Foundation Skills List (Attachment 1 to these Guidelines); • any VET certificates undertaken as part of a senior secondary qualification (including School Based Apprenticeships/Traineeships); • where an individual is transitioning from a superseded qualification to the current version of the same qualification; and • Where an individual is recommencing training in the same qualification (at either the same or a different provider).

  9. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS There are no prerequisites or mandatory entry requirements, allowing flexible entry points that reflect an entrant’s knowledge, skills and experience. Entry requirements for this course are: • An online application or written enrolment form • Pre-Training Review which includes a successful completion of language, literacy and numeracy assessment • Unique Student Identifier (USI)-done during the enrolment process Identification Documents • A Photo ID • A completed self-declaration form (Government Funded students only). This form will be provided by our staff upon enrolment. • Ability to obtain a Police Check
