Movie • This is one way multimedia is used • Media including video, music, voice, graphics, and text into one presentation.
Desktop Publishing • These programs allow you to mix text and graphics to create professional applications. • Professional graphic artists use desktop publishing programs to create brochures, newsletters, newspapers, and textbooks. • Popular programs: adobe Pagemaker, Microsoft Publisher, and Quark X Press. • Graphic artists use other sources: word processors, digitial cameras, scanners, image editors, and image galleries.

Outline the structure of your presentation • Design: Create a story board for the project. You put your ideas on cards. It consists of a series of rectangles, representing a single page in the presentation. • Create: Using a authoring program to create your multimedia presentation. • Suppport: solve any errors or problems you have with your presentation.
