English Bill of Rights(1688) • Part of the Glorious Revolution in England. Signed by William and Mary, granted freedoms very similar to our Bill of Rights
Types of Colonies in America • Royal- controlled by the crown • Proprietary- someone that had been granted the land by a king • Charter- self-governing and given this right by the king
3 Concepts from England • Ordered Government- rules are needed • Limited Government- break from Absolutism • Representative Government- should serve the will of the people
