  1. Social Media For Business: A Helpful Guide by Kimberly Jean Fricke Gaining attention for your business is how you can make it grow. The good news is, there are so many different options for getting the attention your business deserves. According to Kimberly Jean Fricke, you can encourage your customers to share information about your business, create and share commercials, send out emails, and market in so many different ways. Another very successful option for marketing your business is social media. If this is something that you are interested in, continue reading to learn more about how to successfully use social media for your business. One of the first things you should do is decide which social media platform you want to focus on. It's not that you can't use more than one, but if you are new to using social media for business, it can be less overwhelming to begin with one network and then expand. While it can be tempting to choose the social media platform you are most familiar with, you should choose the one that your target audience is on most. You can find this out by doing a bit of research. Once you decide which route you want to take, you will want to create a page or profile for your business. This is quite important to do so properly as it will be a reflection of you and what you have to offer. Be sure that you share as much information as possible so anyone who visits the page will know all about you, use proper grammar, share pictures with captions, and make the information as user friendly as possible. The more a potential customer is able to learn about you via your social media page, the more likely they are to view you as reliable. Then, you want followers, according to Kimberly Jean Fricke. Sure, you can pay for them, but this won't really do much for your business. Instead, you should tell everyone you know about your social media page. If you have a physical location, place a sign or do something to share the information with those who visit you. If you send out an email newsletter or other information, you can share the information here. Another option is to have some sort of contest. You can encourage your target audience to share your page and get others to follow you. In doing this, they may get a discount, small prize, or be entered to win a much bigger prize. After you start to get people following your page, you want to be active on it. You will want to post on a regular basis. Depending on your followers, you may want to post every day or every other day. Also, be sure to interact with your customers. Do this by asking questions and then following up with the information you get. Also, be sure that you answer any questions that are asked via messaging or on your page. The more you interact with your customers, the better it will be for growing your business to where you want it to be.
