Economic Composition • Corporate contributions increased • Helped economic expansion • Inflation and interest rates were low • Economy grew
Political Composition • Congress didn’t follow Reagan’s budget proposal • Congress over spent • Figures didn’t accurately show what Reagan wanted to do
Effect Reagan had on the 80s political climate • Left side – desperately hated Reagan • People – fully supported him • Division among the two parties
Conclusion • Positive and negative results • Applied in other countries • Not as negative on social as initially thought • Popular worldwide
