Arrived there • Getting out quick and quiet • Sees a Hessian
Battle is over • 4 of our men hurt—killed or wounded 106 Hessians • We won; wonder what mama & Ana are going to think • Wonder what the lobster backs are going to think
Leaving battle • Getting on boats • Have no idea what we are going to do with Hessians • Guesses only General Washington knows • Delaware harder to go across maybe because tired
What he is going to tell • Explain what he saw and heard • About Delaware river and General Washington • How proud Papa would be/proud of himself
