    1. Alaska Region Update Economic Development Path to Leadership through Innovation, Accountability, and Partnership Presented on behalf of Gloria O’Neill, President/Chief Executive Officer Cook Inlet Tribal Council, Inc Amy Fredeen, Chief Financial Officer

    3. CITC: Economic Development Initiative Long-Term Vision: CITC is exploring innovative ways to leverage our BIA funds to create supplementary long term, sustainable funding for programs. Demonstrating Leadership: Developing these sustainable funding streams helps us demonstrate to Our People that we are responsible for Our Success, both as a community and as individuals. Leveraging Funds: CITC plans to utilize up to 25% of the BIA funding allowable, under P.L. 102-477, for economic development to seed social enterprises. These social enterprises will create funding streams that complement our current programs and training opportunities for Our People: Creating one more avenue for a hand up rather than a hand out.
