  3. Product Details 1, 2, 3, and 5 HP AC Vector Variable Speed Drive System to maintain line tension and automatically synchronize speed of coiler with speed of process line. Products Overview PC3000 Heavy Duty In-Line Coiling Machine. INCLUDES: • Coil capacities, manually adjustable expand collapse for 50”, 60”, 70” and 84” ID coils on 2” increments x 113” (Specify ID diameters required if different than listed) O.D. x manually adjustable width up to 48” wide x up to 3,000 lbs. load capacity. Note: 84” ID will be a separate set of bolt on ID pads and will still have a 113” OD • Low profile, heavy duty structural steel frame construction with bolt-down floor flanges. • Electric/hydraulic activated coiler expanding/collapsing feature.

  4. • 5 HP AC Vector Variable Speed and Torque Drive System, 0 to approximately 5 RPM • 480 VAC three phase power required. • Zero Speed Holding • Spring applied, electric release holding brake. Engages on power loss or e-stop. • Potentiometer for Torque Control, Maximum speed potentiometer, and Forward/Reverse feature available on either side or both of coiler • Pushbutton, hydraulic powered, coiler expand collapse • Extended and reinforced I.D. pads for a rounder coil to prevent crimping.• Paint: RP Blue with Safety Orange arms. • Forklift base • Manually adjustable tail clamp to allow operator to manually adjust tail clamp alignment to the pipe tail and secure tail for strapping. • Pipe bung quick release pin. Includes holes located at each collapsing arm to allow operator to easily attach pipe bung tail to coiler.

  6. Product Details A wide range of coiling equipment is available for winding material onto reels/ spools or onto coils (stretch wrapped or banded). Both on and off-line coilers are available for material ranging in size from .25” (6.35 mm) to 10” (254 mm). ReelPower Industrial offers both standard and custom machinery for coiling applications. Material handling solutions for up to 21” (533 mm) umbilical cables are available. Shown below are some of the many coiler solutions provided for pipe, conduit, hose & tubing applications.

  7. Automatic Rewind Coiler-ARC Automatic Rewind Coiler comes out with higher coil production at lower cost, greater production flexibility and increase extrusion speed up to 100% and reduce labor cost up to 75%.

  8. Product Details Higher coil Production at Lower cost Higher extrusion speeds are obtained by winding directly onto master reels which typically hold 4 to 48 hours of continuous production. Finished coils are wound “off-line” by transferring product from the master reels to finished coil lengths at high speed using a fully integrated automatic coiling system. This results in higher extrusion speeds, less down time, reduced waste and lower labor costs.

  9. Greater Production Flexibility Coil size changes are made frequently and easily while maximizing extrusion efficiency. Finished coil inventory is typically reduced when coil production is aligned with order fulfillment. Rewind coiling may also be performed remotely, i.e. at distribution warehouse. Increase Extrusion Speed up to 100% and Reduce Labor cost up to 75% Off-line coiling separates the production of finished coils from the extrusion process enabling higher extrusion speeds, less downtime, reduced waste and labor cost per coil.

This proven method should be considered when two or more extrusion lines producing similar sized products are in service, or when on-line production of finished coils reduces extrusion line speed throughput efficiencies.   13. Product Details Semiautomatic coilers are a low cost alternative to fully automatic equipment. These coilers wind the product as it emerges from the extrusion line automatically following extrusion speed using dancer arm or torque control, and they automatically layer the pipe into the desired coil shape. Attachment of the product to the reel is manual as is cutting at the end of extrusion.Packaging is applied by the operator who also is required to unload the finished coil. Automatic pipe layering and auto stop at pipe end are standard across the range.

  14. Products Overview REDUCED COSTS Only one operator is required to oversee the operation of two or more machines. Where coiler utilization is low semiautomatic equipment produces coils comparable to the fully automated process for less capital investment. ● PRODUCTION FLEXIBILITY A wide range of coil head adjustment and interchangeable pipe support plates allow operation across a range of diameters from small diameter tube, hose and conduit up to 6” diameter HDPE pressure pipe. ●
