  4. HowCanYouPreventEyeFatigue?

  5. A. Get Your Eyes Routinely Checked: Having a routine eye exam is the most important thing you can do to prevent or treat any eye condition. Depending upon the problem, the doctor can suggest eye drops that you can use to keep your moistened. A regular eye exam will also ensure that there’s no other underlying eye condition that is causing the trouble.

  6. B. Minimise Your Computer Usage:- It is not feasible to cut down your computer use drastically. However, taking regular breaks every 20 to 30 minutes can help your eyes to rejuvenate. While work- related use of the device is unavoidable, cutting down your smartphone time when travelling or while going off to bed can help reduce eye fatigue. Also, make sure that your computer and laptop have an anti-glare screen.

  7. C. Blink More Often:- While working on an electronic device, make sure that you blink frequently. This will regularly moisten your eyes and prevent dry eyes. If you don’t blink often then your eyes are at the risk of developing dry eyes. If you work in an air- conditioned office, then you are at greater risk of dry eyes. You can ask your doctor for artificial tears if you experience dry eyes.

  8. D. Avoid Working in Dim Light:- Make sure the lighting in the room you’re in is bright enough. The lighting should be bright but not harsh. However, make sure that bright light is not causing reflection on your computer.

  9. E. Give Your Contact Lenses a Break:- If you wear contact lenses, give them a break from time to time. Make sure you handle them with sanitised hands.
