  1. Health Benefits of Juicing Fruits Photo Source: pixabay.com Fresh fruit juices are a wonderful tasty treat that also supply wonderful benefits for our wellbeing. In a juice diet, when we switch out the sodas for the wonderful health benefits of juicing fruits then we can be assured that we will become healthier and less likely to develop diseases. Here is a list of the most commonly juiced fruits with a description of the wonderful juicing benefits they provide. Lemon juice may taste very acidic but is so jam packed with minerals that it actually has a strong alkalizing effect upon the body. This makes lemon juice useful for helping with acidic health condition such as heartburn and gout. Lemon juice also helps to dissolve gallstones that are bound together by fatty cholesterol deposits that are acidic in nature. Red/Purple grape juice is one of the best juices for promoting heart health and helping to protect us from cardiovascular disease. The red and purple coloring of these grapes is generated by the presence of plant pigments called anthocyanins. These anthocyanins are also potent antioxidants that help to protect our arteries from oxidative damage that can lead to atherosclerosis and high blood pressure.

  2. Watermelon juice is a wonderful all-around natural body cleanser that is a great choice for a detox program. Watermelon juice also has a diuretic effect that helps to keep the kidneys flushed and healthy. Orange juice is the classic fruit juice that delivers an excellent amount of vitamin C. Vitamin C is essential to our immune system and is needed to create more than half of the antibodies in our blood that protect us from viruses like colds, flu and ear infections. Apple juice is great for lowering cholesterol, especially if the apples are juiced with their skin on. The skins are a great source of soluble fiber (soluble fiber is not discarded by a juice extractor like insoluble fiber is) called pectin that binds with cholesterol in the intestines. This is great because the cholesterol is then unable to be absorbed through the intestines into the blood stream and is eliminated via our poop instead. Clearly this helps to keep blood cholesterol levels lower. Check more juice recipe and juicer review here.
