Big data, AI, and other technologies allow us to tackle big problems in new ways, engaging students, enabling teachers and harnessing a new culture of empowerment within schools. NY Performance Standards Consortium - started 1987 19 • All student subgroups had higher rates of HS and college completion in these schools including English language learners & Special Ed • Persistence rates in college were higher from graduates of these schools • Achievement gaps between Latinos and African Americans were closed • Suspension rates lower And… we are starting to use this approach at IBM to train our sellers!
