DMHMRSAS ITS May 15, 2002 What Got Us To This Point Standardization 1985 Development of ICDE/Taxonomy 1986 Performance Contract Paper Submission Paper Analysis The beginning of efforts to capture like service and client data from the CSBs. The ICDE was an outgrowth of a federal effort from the Mental Health Statistics Improvement Program to collect comparable data from the 50 states. The taxonomy was the list of defined services offered in the MH/MR/SA system. The performance contract was the mechanism to standardize reporting of client and fiscal data from the 40 CSBs. The forms were lengthy and cumbersome.The beginning of efforts to capture like service and client data from the CSBs.
