  3. Enigmas • Why are they in a simulator? • What is their job in the factory? • Why are they so afraid of children? • Why do they need to collect screams? • Who is the monster with spider legs? • What is the monster world like?

  4. ACTION CODES Elements which suggest something specific will happen later in the film.

  5. Action codes • The theme of doors and monsters going through doors may return. • Leaving the door open allowing a child to go into the monster world. • The idea of scaring children and the learning how to scare them better. • Monsters being afraid of children.
