Student Support

Greenfield International School provides the student support needed. We have a full-time counselor, primary and secondary child protection leads, SEN/EAL teams, and more to help students succeed in both academics and life. The well-being of our students is our first concern. Each student has a homeroom teacher and a grade level coordinator who take care of their academic, social, and emotional needs.

  2. ABOUT US • Greenfield International School is a private, international school in Dubai Investment Park, established in 2007 and following the IB curriculum since 2011. GIS is managed by the Taaleem group, with education for children from Pre-K to Grade 12. • There are only a few schools in the world that are authorized to offer all four IB Programmes, including the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), and the Diploma Programme (DP), as well as the IB Career-related Programme (IBCP) in conjunction with the BTEC program. • GIS is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and the Council of International Schools (CIS). • Greenfield International School has been rated "Outstanding" by Dubai's Knowledge and Human Development Authority.

  3. student support • First and foremost, we are concerned about our students' wellbeing. Students have a homeroom teacher and a grade level coordinator who take care of their academic, social, and emotional needs. There is a full-time Counsellor, Child Protection Leads in both Primary and Secondary, and Special Needs/English as an Additional Language teams at the school. • Those students who need more courses than those available through the school's educational Programmes are encouraged to seek advice from the school first. The school may be able to offer additional courses in its extra-curricular program, or may be able to refer the parent to an appropriate institution or teacher if necessary. • The Student Support Programme provides a variety of services that can help undergraduates succeed in their academic careers. Tutoring and advising are two key components of the SSP. Academic advisors provide individualized help with studying for exams and preparing for classes. They can also provide advice on career options and help students develop a plan for graduate school. Tutors offer one-on-one assistance with homework, classwork, and research projects.
