1. On the 9” square, measure 1 ½” inch from each edge 2. Pencil a light line for the interior plane 3. Measure ½” from the corners, in both directions, then mark 4. Use the exacto knife to cut the dotted line 5. Finally, slip your original illuminated letter or your best linoleum print into the corner slice. 6. Write your name and period # on the back and turn-in to your teacher

In pencil, use line to render the animal photo that you have chosen from the images provided. 3. Execute the photo, to scale in the picture plane. Include the back ground. 4. When you have completed the linear composition, use pen todevelop a consistent light source with a full range ofvalues. 5. The completed composition is due Friday, 5/16 Consider: Build up lines in a variety of techniques to allude to the texture of the animal and the back ground or negative space.
