Session outcomes • Examine the impact of instruction on student learning • Critique videotaped lessons • Recommend behaviors that strengthen instructional impact • Revise ideas of what good teaching looks like and what learning looks like • Develop a list of instructional practices which maximize student learning

  3. Are you pondering what I’m pondering? • Imagine if you are an observer and you’re completing walk throughs for your school’s math department. Take 10 minutes to talk with your group and record your responses on the PINK post-its! Be ready to share out please  • (No Buzz Words allowed!!!!) • What does good teaching look like? • What does learning look like? • Now use the pink post-its to display your groups’ responses on the appropriate posters.
