  3. Annual programs • 4 productions each year • Musical/Fundraiser each summer • Children’s Program (Project PLAY) • Occasional 5th production

  4. And the show goes on… • Season-tickets sale growth • Over 100 productions performed • Enhancing Project PLAY in 2007 • Adding writers’ readings in 2007

  5. Volunteers • SCT relies heavily on volunteers • Costuming • Set design/construction • Ticket office • Ushers • Advertising • Actors • Meetings 1st Monday each month

  6. Volunteers working smarter • 2003- Mississippi Arts Council Grant $59,120 • 2004- 2nd MAC Grant $13,500 • 2005- 3rd MAC Grant $25,000 • Ongoing program grant $20,000 last 6 years

  7. The real story… • 1 person had a dream • Dedicated volunteer group was formed • Board of Directors caught the vision • SCT is changing footprint of Starkville
