Membership Growth Facts • In the last 10 years membership • has grown from 5147 to 6174, • Almost a 20% increase. • In the past four years the baptismal • rate has increased to 191 per year.
Membership Growth Facts • We have one of the highest anglo • growth rates in the NPUC. • We have had over 50 evangelistic • events. • The addition of a Bible worker in the • eastern part of Idaho has been • a blessing.
Spanish Work Growth • Membership Growth Tithe Growth 40% Increase
Membership Growth Goals • Need a minimum growth rate of • 5% per year, • or 300 members per year. How?
Membership Growth Methods We accomplish this growth in the following ways: • Church planting- • plant new churches in • population centers • Increase evangelistic meetings- • frequency- One per church/18 months • efficiency- seed sowing exercises
Membership Growth Seed Sowing • Literature distribution – it works! • 3 ABN – people seek us out! • Member witness/outreach • Spanish Bible worker/evangelist
Education Facts • We have high quality teachers • and curriculum as evidenced • by high scores on nationally • normed tests – both in the • elementary and academy. • Enrollments are growing in K-8 • and have stabilized at GSA.
Education Facts • Gem State Academy is one of, • if not the largest, boarding • academy for a conference our • size in the NAD!
Education Goals • Continue to hire quality, • committed teachers. • Continue to emphasize Jesus Christ • in the classroom, as evidenced • by increased baptisms. • (over 60 in the past four years)
Education Goals • Improve our computerized membership records. • Find ways to insure that EVERY Adventist child is served by the church.
Knowing the successes it has enjoyed in the past, Satan has attacked it’s financial base in the past few years. • We have been forced to close the • farm operation at the academy. • There have been four different • treasurers in the past few years.
Nevertheless, because of God’s blessings and: • an excellent faculty, staff and administration, • individual and collective financial support; Even though challenged we are beginning to thrive again - Consider…
God’s Blessings • Academy church year-around • Spiritual emphasis on campus • Mission trips • Record high test scores • Strong development/fund-raising director • Full-time recruiter hired • Excellent accreditation report • Albertson’s Foundation grant • Girl’s dorm remodeling project • This year - solid finances • Next year – balanced budget

Camp Ida-Haven Facts In the past ten years… • Usage of the camp has doubled. • Income has grown by over 50%. • Approximately $700,000 has been • donated to camp projects.
Camp Ida-Haven Facts The camp has made outstanding progress as shown by: • Awarded “Most improved camp” in NPUC • A waiting list of young people desiring to work at camp. • Outstanding summer staff retention. • Waiting list for most camps

Camp Ida-Haven Goals • Continue to upgrade the camp • Remodel the Main Lodge • Continue strong spiritual program
Facts • Station began October 14, 1990, • Manger Mike Agee, and a dozen • students. • To date we have received over $3 million • from the public. • KTSY has paid over $330,000 in student • wages at GSA.
Facts • Elevated Adventist awareness. • Captured 4-5% of the market. • 35,000-40,000 listeners per week • Received peer recognition for • station – Dove Awards. • Proclaimed the complete SDA • message.
Goals • New KTSY building home • Double listening area • three translators • two new stations • Continue to reach out to community • - ie. - Post 9/11 – 3,800 people in Prayer • session including Gov. of Idaho

They are committed to excellence in all areas, such as: • Trust Services ‘A’ accreditation • Clean financial audits • Customer service oriented • Membership database support
