Vacations and Holidays • JV and Varsity Level • 1. Lacrosse games and practices are held during vacation week and on weekends. If you plan on being away during the week of vacation please do not try-out.
Vacations and Holidays • We are a little more understanding at the lower levels but it is hard to develop players if they are not at practice. If a situation arises, please talk to your coach as soon as possible.
Bus Rides • Players are expected to ride to and from games with the team on the bus. Even though it might be inconvenient, team unity starts and finishes on the bus.
Booster Club • The role of the booster club is going to be a support group for the student/athletes in the lacrosse program. There will be no political agendas. Everything we do will impact the players in the program in some way. • Also, just because a parent helps out with the booster club does not mean their child is going to start or even make a particular team. The Coaches will decide the rosters and playing time.
Communication • It is important to communicate any problem or situations that you feel are important. It is possible to avoid problems if you and the Coach address them together. If you feel there is a problem, go to the Coach, not another parent or the Athletic Director. If the coach doesn’t handle the problem, call or e-mail Coach Aldrich and I will investigate the problem. • The Coaches on this staff will never embarrass your child on the field, do not embarrass the Coach or the program in the stands.
Contact Information • Coach Aldrich • 1. Work 218-3000 (Gillette Road) • 2. E-mail baldrich@nscsd.org
