  1. My name is _____. I ride a bus to school. During my school day, I do independent work at my station.

  2. When it is time for independent work, I need to pick something to work for. I will try hard to pick something fast and sit down.

  3. When I sit down I need to put what I am working for on my schedule strip. I am now ready to work.

  4. I will try to do all of my work by myself in independent work. First, I take off my first picture and match it to the envelope.

  5. I will take my activity and try and complete it all by myself. If I need to I can ask for help. When I finish, I put my activity back.

  6. Next, I take off my next picture and do the next activity. I will try and do it all by myself.

  7. Finally, I match my last picture and do the last activity. I will try and do it all by myself.

  8. Wow! I'm all done with my activities! That means I'm all done with independent work. I will tell an adult I'm all done with my work! I can use someone's name or I can go to an adult and tap their shoulder.

  9. I need to wait for an adult to check my work before I get what I worked for. Sometimes I might have forgotten to do something. That is ok. When I am told I can have what I worked for, I can go and get it.
