Specifics of Flight! • Flight involved Qualifying 6 CRs • Flight involved all 6 TDSPs • First Flight using ETOD. • In addition to ETOD scripts, Flight included End to End Scripts required by Oncor and Reliant TDSPs. • First Flight managed without an ITPTA. • First Flight managed with the assistance of multiple parties (Chair, Vice Chairs of TTPT, PUCT Staff, ERCOT Market Testing Team, ERCOT Management) • First Flight to finish early!

  3. Details! Original date to begin was changed to allow Tiger Team to proceed with Market Testing resources Connectivity Testing was completed in 5 working days. Daily Market Testing conference calls were held at 11:00 AM in order to discuss daily responsibilities amongst Testing Participants Flight closed Friday, May 17th at 11:00 A.M. Testing was completed before the original timeline even though testing was delayed by 3 weeks. Notice of CRs “Successful Completion of Market Testing” was provided to all parties on May 17th.

A Few Issues Encountered! • Some pre-testing requirements were not met • ETOD - Additional development needed to add validation missing • Payment script - Escalation process used to resolve • Payment script - Many issues experienced by TDSPS and new CRs due to insufficient definition for testing 820 processes. • 650 Service Orders - Escalation process used to resolve • Clarity of Process needed - Some new trading partners were unclear regarding responsibilities of some Market processes • Process for issuing Certification letter was not clearly defined. • Some Market processes were severely misunderstood by some new CRs

  5. Accomplishments for ETOD! • The ETOD tool is directly responsible for early completion of this Flight. ETOD was used to support testing for 6 TDSP territories and the primary testing tool for 4 TDSPs. Oncor and Reliant TDSPs continue to require End to End testing. • While ETOD is an excellent tool, current development only includes transaction validation. • ETOD needs to be further developed to include additional items as… • Market timing - Actual times defined by Market rules that a Market Participant must adhere to in order to support Market processes • TDSP Transactions - Currently ETOD does not include all TDSP transactions for Service Orders, Meter Readings, TDSP Bill,etc… • Automation of Interaction - ETOD needs developed to include the ability to send a response transaction instead of the Testing Participant “pulling down” a transaction for response.

  6. More work for TTPT! List of “Lessons Learned” has been compiled to improve next Flight. List of development items needed for ETOD is being compiled Certification letter process is being improved to ensure CRs receive digital certificates as quickly as possible List of pre-test action items for TTPT to complete ensuring success and smooth processes for future Flights.
