HAN Coordinator & Oversight • Role & Objective: • Working in a collaborative effort along side the Texas PUCT commission staff in helping drive towards a common and open HAN marketplace • Usher the development and implementation of a successful HAN environment • Focus on stability, security and robust functionality
HAN Coordinator & Oversight • Role & Objective: • HAN device with SEP can provision and function similar across territories on any TDSP network • REPS and/or Third Parties can communicate with devices that are provisioned on the TDSP network in support of products & services • Foster a HAN environment and infrastructure for all market participants including consumers • Enable transparency in the operation of the respective TDSP systems for market understanding
HAN Coordinator & Oversight • Key Functions: • Project Management: • Market coordination • Intermediary between PUCT, REP’s, TDSP’s, Third Parties, vendors and Consumer advocates • Vision definition and the road map to get there • Mindful of security and privacy standards • Status updates and confidential reporting to the retail market and commission staff • Develop and maintain project plan and timelines
HAN Coordinator & Oversight • Key Functions: • Trouble shooting and resolution • Spending time on site at market participants offices • Working with market participants on trouble shooting • Interface with help desk for resolution • Create a knowledge database • Market Participant report development • Market readiness update • HAN device score card • Diagnostic reporting
HAN Coordination & Oversight • Key Functions: • Marketing awareness/outreach • Outreach to and education of PUCT staff, REPs, vendors, TDSPs, third parties, and consumer advocates • HAN starter kit • HAN user guide • Information dissemination (market awareness)
