Averb can tell about an action that happens now. Rule 1: Add s to an action verb that tells what one person, animal, or thing does. Example 1 :- Salmaeats breakfast daily. 2. She eats breakfast daily.
Example 2 :-1. Jackswims every weekend.2. Heswims every weekend.
Example 3 :- 1. The monkey jumps on trees.2. It jumpson trees.
Rule 2: Don’t add s to an action verb that tells about what more than one person, animal, or thing does. Example 1:- 1. Every year my grandparentsvisitus. 2. Every year they visit us.
Example 2 :-1. Mom and I go shopping every Friday.2. Wegoshopping every Friday.
Example 3 :-1. Sam and Mark play with their friends.2. Youplay with your friends.
Rule 2: Don’t add s to an action verb that tells about what “I” do. Example:- I read a nice story about animals.
