What is Office Mix? An add-on to Office PowerPoint Allows to record PowerPoint Presentations with audio and annotations. Also allows apps to be added like videos, multiple choice questions, and free-response questions. Keeps track of who watches the mix and analytics.
Getting started Download the Mix from www.mix.office.com Will add a new tab to the ribbon in PowerPoint Update Office Mix – It’s new and gets updated often
Creating a Mix Build a PowerPoint first Include animations and transitions like you normal would for a class lecture Once done I recommend printing it and writing out some notes for what you would like to say
Creating a Mix In the MIX ribbon press Slide Recording You will be taken to a new screen with a new ribbon at the top
Adding Quizzes In the MIX ribbon press You will taken to the store You can add any of the quizzes You will want these be on their own page
Uploading a Mix Select Upload to Office Mix Sign-in Create new mix – Option to make video only, will not have the interactive elements though. But can be played on mobile devices.
Uploaded mixes Once uploaded, a hyperlink can be added to your website for students to access or you can email them the link. Based on your security you can force students to log in to access the mix.
