  1. Strategy: No Limit Introduction to the Big Stack Strategy (BSS)

  2. See the money that you take with you to a table as an investment. Bankroll Management means identifying what limits you can invest in so that you … …advance as far as possible when you win. …do not drop back too far when you lose. Bankroll Management for the Big Stack Strategy: Always join a table with a full stack, i.e 100BB. (100BB = 1 buy-in) Once you have 25 buy-ins in the next highest limit, you can move up to that limit. If you only have 25 buy-ins in the next lowest limit, you must move down to that limit. Even the world‘s best players go bust if they don‘t have good BRM! What is Bankroll Management (BRM)?

  3. Your profits are caused by your opponents‘ mistakes and vice versa! Your opponents’ (up to NL100) most common mistakes are: They play too many hands, and hands that are too weak. They play too passive. They don‘t like “parting with“ their cards. They bluff too much and at the wrong time. They don‘t pay attention to their position at the table. They don‘t manage their poker bankroll well. What you need to do: You only select hands that are worth playing. You play aggressive. You have no problem folding, if the situation becomes unprofitable. You don‘t bluff much and only in suitable situations. You adapt your game according to your position at the table. You manage your poker bankroll well. How do you win No Limit Hold´em?

  4. You play tight! You choose what starting hands to play. Many cards look strong, but aren‘t. You know when it is costing you too much money to stay in the pot and are capable of folding your hand. You play aggressive!! You decide on your own bet, rather than just going along with other players’ bets/calling. You force your opponents to make decisions, which in turn forces them to make mistakes. You play in position!!! It is dangerous to want to win money when you don‘t have position on your opponent. Position gives you a valuable advantage in terms of the information available to you. More profitable moves are possible. The tight-aggressive strategy (TAG)

  5. The keys to your success are: Strong bankroll management. The consistent use of a tight and aggressive playing style. Higher limits will make you change your playing style, but the basic rules remain the same. Conclusion
