2009 Membership Recruitment Campaign • The Local Sections Council is sponsoring a new membership recruitment campaign geared to recruit non-AIHA local section members into becoming national AIHA members • Campaign began on April 23, 2009 • Runs through December 15, 2009
Local Section Competition • Local sections participating in the 2009 Recruitment Campaign are eligible to win free live or archived AIHA telewebs • Prize eligibility is based on the membership size of a local section • Membership size categories are: • Small (1 to 50 members) • Medium (51 to 100 members) • Large (greater than 100 members)
Local Section Prize • The top two local sections with the most recruited new AIHA members per category will be awarded: • a 2010 AIHA live teleweb of their choice • Local sections placed third through seventh per category will be awarded: • an archived AIHA teleweb of their choice • Awards Aid 2010 Local Section Programming!
Prizes for the Individual Recruiter • The individual recruiter will be entered into the drawings for AIHA’s Member-Get-A- Member Campaign: • Quarterly Prizes: All recruiters are eligible for the special quarterly drawing for a $250 American Express Gift Card. • Grand Prize: Recruiters will be entered into the grand prize drawing a choice of registration to AIHce 2010 or PCIH 2010, airfare, and hotel.
How to Qualify • To qualify, a completed AIHA membership application and dues payment must be received by December 15, 2009 • Be sure to tell the recruited individual to enter both the name of the local section and the person who recruited them on the “Recruited by” section of their AIHA membership application.

How Does a Local Section Get Started? • Contact Thursa La (tla@aiha.org) to report the membership size of your local section and to request membership marketing brochures for the campaign • Announce the Local Section Membership Campaign via: • LS Business Announcements at your Meetings • Use Electronic Announcements and Newsletters • Discuss directly with Co-Workers and Colleagues
