Crime Statistics • Data analysed from the last financial year (Apr 2009 – May 2010) – data provided by GMP (Stretford LPT Intelligence Analyst) • 560 Rowdy and Nuisance Vehicles ASB Incidents over the last financial year of which 60 % related to Youth Involvement. • 440 Rowdy Behaviour Incidents – 75 relate to alcohol – but this is a minimum account of the true figure – alcohol related statistics are very unreliable and misrepresented. • Some of the main drivers of assaults, especially within the Home is thought to be alcohol. With the police data, it is again, like ASB, thought that the figure is underestimated due to a marker having to be placed on the crime when it is reported.
