  3. School begins at 7:55amPlease make sure your child is here on time.If your child eats breakfast in the cafeteria, they need to be here by 7:30.Students arriving after 7:55am will be counted tardy.

  4. Students that are dropped off each morning, must enter the building through the back gym doors. When you drop your child off, please walk them to the door and leave them in the care of our caring Charles Russell Staff. Please do not enter the building with your child. This is for the safety of all of our students.

  5. REMIND 101 Receive classroom reminders via text message! Send a text to: (601) 781-8932 With the message: @mrsboco You will receive a reply thanking you for joining our class, and you will be asked to reply with your first and last name.

  6. Yellow folders need to be returned to school each day. This will be our primary form of communication. Students will bring a reading bag home Monday-Thursday. Next week, each child will be assigned a specific reading group. Please read the book with your child, sign the reading log, and make sure the bag & book are returned each day.

  7. Itinerant Class Schedule Monday – Counseling Tuesday – Music, Gym Wednesday – Library Thursday – Computers, Music Friday - Art

  8. We will have a snack every afternoon. Snacks must comply with our District-Approved Snack List that you received the first day of school. Each child is responsible for bringing in their own snack. You are welcome to send in crackers, cereal, etc. to be kept in our classroom for students who may forget their snack.

  9. School ends promptly at 2:55pm If your child is picked up from school, please wait on the blacktop area. Your child may not leave until I have made eye contact with you. Visitors are not permitted to enter through the back doors. If you need to speak to Mr. Salyersor Mrs. Bocook, please go to the front of the building and enter the office to sign in and request a meeting.

  10. Each Friday, students will be tested over the following: Spelling Words Vocabulary Words Class reading story Sight words
