  14. SPOT Report • Spot report is a report containing information for which speed of transmission is essential. • A spot report does not have a prescribed format, but use of the S-A-L-U-T-E format will ensure reporting of essential information.

  29. Practical Exercise At 1420 on the 24th of the month, while on patrol, you observe tanks moving across country followed by 3 armored personnel carriers you have identified as BMP’s. They are traveling in a south westerly direction. Only 2 of the 6 tanks had number that could be read. The numbers were 258 and 261. You have identified the tracked vehicles to be enemy. You have determined that the center of mass of the tracked vehicles is NB26814239. The only personnel observed was one driver wearing a protective mask. You submitted your spot report at 1425.
