OBJECTIVES: • Improve urban infrastructure & governance of ULBs • Improve roads and construct UGD for Greater Bangalore • Loan Effectiveness : 30.06.2006; Loan Closure : 30.04.2012 • Extension of Project Period : 31.03.2014 • Further extension up to March 15 approved by DEA, WB concurrence awaited • Project Components and their costs: KMRP Rs in Crore * Total Expenditure incurred Rs. 181.33 cr, Excess expenditure of 25 cr borne by BBMP. ** Total Contracted value Rs. 1187 cr; Dovetailed with JNNURM Rs. 383.44 cr

Award of work underway 24/7 WS ( Nanjangud) – Bids re-invited, Last Date of receipt of bid – 20-01-2014 24/7 WS ( Magadi) – Bids re-invited, Last Date of receipt of bid – 22-01-2014 24/7 WS ( Kollegala) –Bids being re-invited

  6. KMRP C. BANGALORE DEVELOPMENT COMPONENT (Allocation-Rs. 791 cr; Exp.-Rs. 568 cr) • C1. Bangalore Road Rehabilitation • Program ; Allocated Amount – Rs. 156 Cr • Rehabilitation of 125 Km of roads in 4 packages – project completed • Expenditure - Rs. 181.33 cr as against Rs. 156 cr allocation • C2. Greater Bangalore UGD Program ; Allocated Amount – Rs. 605 Cr • 2255 km of sewer lines and about 2,15,000 house connections in 24 packages • Physical Progress: As on Dec‘13- 1897.27 km against the target of 2011 Km • C3. The Greater Bangalore Pro-Poor Sanitation Program; Allocated Amt – Rs. 30 Cr • Applications received – 2318 • Work orders issued – 1838 • Toilets completed - 1039
