The bobcat can pick out the sick and wounded as prey and go after them first. Thorny Devil Barrel Cactus It can change its body color depending what kind of soil it is walking over. Desert Kangaroo Rat Saguaro Cactus Coyote Has a cheek pouch that allows it to store food for weeks. Hair is brown and grey so it can camouflage • Stores water • Spines to protect it’s water • Doesn’t need much water
