A Peek At the Week… • Sight Words: there, use, an, each, which • Letters: short a letter patterns- (ex. at, ag) • Math: Numbers and Counting 0-20 • Science Unit: Too Good For Drugs • Language: Beginning, middle and end of a story • Homework • Practice letters, sounds and sight words nightly. • Read and record it on your reading log. This should be done nightly, if possible. Students earn stickers for every 5 books and rewards for every 25 books read at home. • Math Sheet • Have your child read these words: hat, bag, ram, tap Do you have training in the medical field? If you would like to donate items for our class’ treat bags please send it to school with your child by October 29th. We currently have 20 students. Some ideas may include pencils, candy, erasers, trinkets, notepads, small individually wrapped snacks, etc. Tuesday: “Team Up Against Drugs” Wear a sports team shirt and uniform bottoms. Wednesday: “Happy, Happy, Happy, Healthy, Healthy, Healthy” Wear Duck Dynasty or camouflage clothing. Thursday: “Be a Hero, Not a Zero!” Wear a Superhero shirt with uniform bottoms. Friday: “I’m a Jean-ius! Drug Free!” Wear jeans with a red shirt or a Marlow school spirit day shirt. Marlow’s Mission is to provide a safe, supportive learning environment that will enable our students to grow academically and socially. `
