Delivery: Jobs New Jobs: To date: 5,811 new jobs delivered across our region 2,879 new jobs to follow This figure rises to 10,966 new jobs when factoring in construction jobs and safeguarded jobs. 2018/19: 414 new jobs created 1,867 jobs safeguarded 1,960 construction new jobs #LEP19
Delivery: Skills and Training • Schools • Further Education • Higher Education • Businesses To date, our training and skills partnerships have seen £32m invested in expanding the skills provision in our region. This includes an additional £5.42m in ESF funding awarded this year to tackle youth unemployment across Hull delivered by the Springboard YEI. #LEP19

Delivery: Inward Investment Currently, the Humber LEP has 14 Foreign Direct Investment projects that will have created around 265 jobs. Proposed upcoming inward investment includes the Siemens Mobility train manufacturing plant at Goole, the Yorkshire Energy Park near Hedon, East Yorkshire, and the Velocys green jet fuel site at Stallingborough, all of which would create thousands of new jobs in total. #LEP19
