  4. No significant changes or updates to HLC’s guidelines on determining faculty qualifications • The compliance date is still September 1st, 2022 • Credentialing qualifications; • Master’s degree in discipline • Master’s degree in any discipline with 18 credits in discipline

  6. Credentialing Review • All high school instructors should have received at least one initial review • Cover sheet showing number of courses counting towards HLC • A copy of all the transcripts which were reviewed • If coursework was not included in the review, we do not have a copy of those transcripts. • SMSU and other MinnState University courses - we can pull for free, let us know those courses are there • Additional transcripts will be resubmitted to departments in next round (2 rounds/year) • We can review off of unofficial transcripts, but will need official copies eventually in your file for HLC. • You can wait until all courses are complete at a given University before sending us official transcripts. Education Grant - Kandy Knowles Stevens The purpose is to encourage teaching as a profession in an effort to address the existing and increasing teacher shortage issues prevalent in Minnesota. • It is our goal to spark an interest in the field of Education early in a student’s college experience • Incredibly successful
