Turning ideas into marketable products Bringing technologies to market Parallel activities: Marketing, technical, business, & legal Basic ways to do it: Take an inventory of intellectual property Buy/sell technology outright License it Start your own company based on license from an Institute, Spin off a company from your organization Establish a Joint Venture Establish a strategic partnership or alliance with a larger company Whatever way you choose, solid business planning is a must!
