“I don’t understand why I can’t take care of customers like the rest of ya’ll do, especially when it gets busy and people are standing around to be waited on. Ryan’s desire to add more value requires coaching first then mentoring, which can both be ideally offered by fellow F.A.S.T. members. BUT this probably won’t happen unless they perceive Ryan to be “one of them” professionally—not “just” a “blue collar” worker. Do they value status more than Ryan’s PD?
