  2. What Snow Leopards Eat In this slide show I will tell you what snow leopards eat, where they live, and so much more. Snow leopards eat blue mountain sheep, muskrats, and in the winter the villagers livestock. Their tongues are like sandpaper. They use them to lick the fur off their pray. They are big animals so they need a lot to eat.

  3. What They Look Like Snow Leopards coats vary from a white coat with a darkly colored spots, to a brownish coat with darkly colored spots. One of the cool facts about them is when they are cold they rap there tails around their bodies. Their tails can be as long as 3 feet!

  4. Where They Live Snow Leopards live in Central Asia, and the Middle East. They live in the Himalayan Mountains. They do not live together in groups. They live far from each other. The only time they are together is when it is mating season.

  5. The Sad Fate of Life It is sad to say that snow leopards are hunted for their fur, even though it is against the law in most places where they live. Their fur can be sold for more then $100, that is a lot more then a Asian farmer makes in a year. But thankfully there are lots of people trying to save the lives of these endangered animals.
