GMT Activities • Developing and growing new members & clubs • Analyzing membership trends • Developing strategies for target markets • Establishing new club extension plans • Designing & implementing membership campaigns • Informing Lions re: membership growth programs
Extension Workshops: key strategies • Identifying locations • Recruiting members • Charter member involvement
Goal of Extension Workshops • To provide Lions with the knowledge, skills and confidence necessary to successfully establish new Lions clubs • Workshop = One New Club • (AT LEAST!)
GMT Activities • Developing club success to realize long term member satisfaction • Developing club rebuilding experts • Analyzing Club Health Assessment • Guiding clubs to increase member satisfaction • Supporting Certified Guiding Lions • Encouraging participation in CEP
Goal of Club Excellence Process (CEP) • To provide Lions with resources • to strengthen their club.
Why CEP ? • Increase membership • Improve service • Decrease drops
At the end of the CEP, clubs can • Identify characteristics of an “excellent” club • Recognize obstacles • Conduct analysis • Identify resources available • Set goals based on analysis • Create/implement action plan
