LMSG PROCESS FOR GRANT REQUESTS

This process outlines how to request funds from LMSG for military personnel, veterans, and their families during times of war, natural disasters, or need. The request should come from the church liaison or congregation, and will be reviewed and recommended by the LMSG Morale, Welfare, and Relief Team. The final decision will be made by the LMSG Board of Directors.

  2. LMSG PROCESS FOR GRANT REQUEST EVENT ACTION THAT INVOLVES THE MILITARY ACTIVE DUTY, RESERVE, GUARDSMEN, VETERANS, AND THEIR FAMILIES IN TIME OF WAR, NATURAL DISASTERS, OR NEED, BE IT ROUTINE OR EMERGENCY

  3. LMSG PROCESS FOR GRANT REQUEST REQUEST FOR FUNDS THE REQUEST FOR FUNDS SHOULD COME FROM THE CHURCH LIAISON AND CONGREGATION TO LMSG FOR BOTH ROUTINE AND EMERGENCY REQUESTS

  4. LMSG PROCESS FOR GRANT REQUEST LMSG MORALE, WELFARE, AND RELIEF TEAM (MWR TEAM) TEAM IS CHAIRED BY THE LMSG VICE PRESIDENT, FINANCIAL SECRETARY, WELS REPS, AND ONE MEMBER OF THE LMSG BOARD OF DIRECTORS

  5. LMSG PROCESS FOR GRANT REQUEST THE LMSG MWR TEAM WILL REVIEW THE REQUEST AND MAKE A RECOMMENDATION TO THE LMSG BOARD OF DIRECTORS

  6. LMSG PROCESS FOR GRANT REQUEST UPON REVIEW, THE MWR TEAM MAY SUGGEST TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS A LARGER GRANT THAN ORIGINALLY REQUESTED

  7. LMSG PROCESS FOR GRANT REQUEST THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS WILL REVIEW THE MWR TEAM’S RECOMMENDATION AND APPROVE, DISAPPROVE, OR MAKE CHANGES TO THE RECOMMENDATION. WHEN COMPLETED THE CHURCH LIAISON WILL BE NOTIFIED OF LMSG’S DECISION.
