  3. Theme Passage 1 Cor 8 5 For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as there are many gods & many lords), 6 yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, & we for Him; & one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, & through whom we live.

  4. 1) One Salvation: Belongs to God- Psalm 3:8 Salvation 8 Salvation belongs to the Lord. Your blessing is upon Your people.

  5. Salvation Salvation is the deliverance… …from the penalty of sin, death & separation from God when life, is over giving us hope …from the power of sin over our life now, giving us freedom

  6. Salvation Only God has the power to deliver us. There are many things that can make us feel better for a time, but salvation belongs to God alone for He alone has the power to bring it about.

  7. Rev 7 9 After these things I looked, & behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, & tongues, standing before the throne & before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, Salvation

  8. Rev 7 10 & crying out with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, & to the Lamb!" Salvation

  10. 1) One Salvation: Belongs to God- Psalm 3:8 Salvation Am I looking to a “secondary” source for salvation or do I look to God alone?

  11. 2) One Salvation: Comes through Jesus Christ- I Timothy 2:3-6 Salvation 3 For this is good & acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved & to come to the knowledge of the truth.

  13. Salvation That there is one God who saves & one Savior in Jesus Christ, is controversial to some people, but not to God.

  14. Salvation I can choose to doubt because of the opinion of men, or choose to have faith because of the testimony of God.

  15. Salvation I John 5 10 Anyone who believes in the Son of God has this testimony in his heart. Anyone who does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because he has not believed the testimony God has given about his Son. NIV

  16. Salvation I John 5 11 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, & this life is in his Son. 12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. NIV
