DS+R Architects Description: floor, roof, walls made in Rhino. Textures, materials, and people added in photoshop using the distort tool to stretch photos of textures into place. Pencil lines created by printing the rendering out, tracing over it with trace paper, scanning the traced lines back into the compute,r and layering them on top of the rendering in photoshop. **Make sure the scale of the materials and the textures is close to their actual size - don’t distort them to the point where they are out of scale.

RCR Architects Ambient Images Description: This rendering uses a rhino model just to get the basic outlines of the perspective, then in photoshop materials and people are added in order to produce an image which focusses less on depicting the actual reality as on communicating the material presence and play of light in the project. The color has been stylized very carefully to tones which evoke a specific mood/atmosphere.
