Our Concern Smoking outside smoking section Wearing uniforms properly Horse playing
Improving student morale • Having students be more responsible • Having students understand the concern for safety hazards Our Challenge
We are trying to improve the safety and appearance on center • We would like to reduce the number of fights and terminations on center due to horse-playing • Students dressing appropriately during training day • Avoiding fire hazards • Littering • Improving the look of the center and the students • Reducing the workload on outside details and disciplinary actions This is an important challenge for SGA because:
Our goal as the SGA of Woodstock Job Corps is to improve students’ appreciation of the opportunity offered to them, to respect the center, students, and staff. To understand that the center is a place for multiple students who would like to see a cleaner, more safe center. In Conclusion Our concern is that students are not more responsible, professional, and do not assist in keeping our center safe and clean
We will know we have accomplished our goals when students begin to smoke in designated smoking areas, wearing uniforms properly and we have received approval for dress down Friday’s, and there is less horse-playing, fighting and terminations. How will we know we have accomplished our goal?
