Governmental Ordinances on Professional Qualifications Health Care Professionals and Further Education

  3. Competent Authorities I. A/ Recognition of qualifications from EU countries: - general system directives, - sectoral directives: documents of health professionals except documents on specializations, Centre for Equivalency of Qualifications MoE SR

  4. Competent Authorities II. B/ Recognition of qualifications from non EU countries: - general system directives, - sectoral directives: documents of health professionals except documents on specializations, Universities, (specific: The Slovak Health Univerzity Bratislava)

  5. Competent Authorities III. C/ Recognition of specializations EU/nonEU countries MoH SR D/ Licence to practice EU/nonEU countries parts: - recognition of qualif. (MoE, MoH), - good character, - health capacity, - ethical competency (good repute), - language skills.

  6. Slovak citizens - conformity 1stMay 2004 1st Jan. 1993 SR SR ČSSR ČSFR ČSR Non conformity but +3 years practice = Conformity (except stomatology - 2008)

  7. Competent Authorities IV. E/ Slovak citizens: - confirmation of equivalency: university studies or education on secondary health schools MoH - confirmation of equivalency documents on specialization studies SHU

Competent Authorities V. - certificate of professional experience MoH - certificate of good standing chamber organizations (Slovak Chamber of Doctors, Slovak Chamber of Dental Doctors, Slovak Chamber of Pharmacists, Slovak Chamber of Nurses and Midwifes, Slovak Chamber of Psychologists, Slovak Chamber of University-Level Health Care Workers, Slovak Chamber of Mid-Level Health Care Workers and Slovak Chamber of Dental Technicians)
