Does this girl look innocent? Bullies are usually powerful and self confident.
Withdrawn Wants to be alone Loneliness or shyness
Fear Anxiety Depression, sadness or not wanting to go to school.
Do you see these things happening? Types of Bullying
Bullying occurs when there is an unbalance in power. Taking away things and then mocking someone.
Sometimes bullies try to deflect negative attention onto someone else. Tattle telling just to get someone in trouble.
Sometimes it can get physical. Physical threats
Facebook Texting Myspace Emails Twitter Cyber bullying or posting mean things on social networks
Name calling Laughing loudly at someone Saying mean things about someone. Making fun of someone in front of others to belittle that person.
What would you do? • What would you want done? • Are you being a bully? What do we do about bullies?
Talk to a teacher. Everyone around should defend the weak. Fighting back physically is not the best approach.
We should all try to get along or at least stay away from those that want to hurt you. Don’t be a bully! Be a friend!
