PBAN Nominations Committee • PBAN Nominations Committee Membership is open to current PBAN members. • Membership to this committee is set at a committee of five. • All Nominations Committee members are bound to ethical standards of confidentiality relative to his or her role in the processing of applicants and candidates.

  3. Qualifications for Nominations • PBAN General Membership—MBA graduate from the University of Pittsburgh’s Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business (including its former representation) as defined by the PBAN Bylaws. • Active in PBAN—shall be described as participation as a • Registered PBAN member. • Active in the last two (of four) PBAN general meetings with one being the October Homecoming meeting held on campus and in-person participation in the last two general meetings. • Active participation as a PBAN officer or committee member. • Submission of a completed PBAN Officer, Board Director or Committee Chairperson application by the identified due date.

  4. Processing of NomineesPhase One: Recruitment • Any PBAN general member may nominate another PBAN general member for elected office. PBAN members may also self-nominate. • The Nominations Committee will work with current PBAN leadership to determine prospective executive board and board director-at-large and committee chair candidates. • A call for nominations will take place the summer prior to the scheduled election.

  5. Processing NomineesPhase Two: Application • The PBAN Nominations Committee will interview qualified applicants. Following interviews, candidates for election are chosen from the pool of interviewed applicants.

  6. PBAN Elections • PBAN elections will be held annually for open positions at or before the PBAN General Body Meeting during the University of Pittsburgh Homecoming weekend.
